What it does
Turns speech into text wherever you can type, with transcription running on your own machine so audio never leaves it, plus note-taking features for organising what you dictated afterwards. Models download on first use and take disk space, speed depends on the hardware, and technical terms and proper nouns still need checking before you send anything. Actively developed and still changing.
