noise-suppression-for-voice
A free plugin that strips background noise out of your microphone

What it does
Removes fans, air conditioning, traffic and background chatter from a microphone signal while leaving the voice intact, working in real time so it is usable during calls and livestreams. It loads as an audio plugin (VST, LV2, AU and others) into apps such as OBS, Discord bridges and recording software, so no command line is involved. Input must be 48000 Hz. It cannot improve a genuinely poor microphone, and the authors note it may make such audio worse by mistaking voice for noise.
