What it does
Background removal and AI upscaling that execute inside the browser tab rather than on a server, so images are never uploaded - which makes it usable for confidential material and photographs of other people. It handles batches and keeps working offline once loaded. The initial model download is substantial, and speed depends on your machine, so large images and big batches take time on older hardware.

removerized FAQ
- Is removerized free?
- Yes. It runs on your own machine, so there is no usage-based cost either.
- Do I need to install anything or write code to use removerized?
- You install it like a normal desktop app. No command line involved.
- Does removerized work on a phone?
- No. It needs a computer.
- Can removerized run offline?
- It can, if you point it at a model running locally. Choose a cloud provider instead and your content goes to that company - so for material you cannot share, select the local option.
- Can I use removerized commercially?
- The licence is GPL-3.0. Using it commercially is fine, but if you distribute something built on it you may be required to release that under the same licence. Keep it internal, or check before distributing.
