What it does
Brings LanguageTool inside VS Code and teaches it to skip markup, so LaTeX, BibTeX, Markdown, MDX, Quarto, Typst, AsciiDoc, Org and reStructuredText are checked on their prose rather than their syntax; source-code comments can be included opt-in. It catches grammar and style problems a spell checker misses — "The bananas is tasty", "we look forward to welcome you" — and runs locally, so drafts never leave the machine. Only useful if VS Code is where you write. MPL-2.0.
