What it does
A Gradio front-end over several Whisper implementations — openai/whisper, faster-whisper and others — that turns audio or video into subtitle files, with speaker diarisation and translation available, plus a Colab notebook if you would rather not install anything. Local runs keep audio on the machine; the YouTube import and translation features do reach out, which is the distinction that matters for confidential recordings. Apache-2.0.
