What it does
Transcribes speech and recordings entirely on your own machine, working without an internet connection and collecting nothing, using NVIDIA's Parakeet model for fast recognition. It covers twenty-five European languages; Japanese is not among them, so Japanese speakers need a Whisper-based tool such as Buzz instead. For English and European audio that must not leave the machine, it is a strong option.
