Built from the premise that you should not hand your life to software you cannot understand: where OpenClaw is roughly half a million lines across 70+ dependencies with application-level allowlists, NanoClaw runs each agent in its own Linux container with filesystem isolation, in one process and a handful of files. Container isolation bounds what the code can touch locally, but any messaging account you connect still grants the agent whatever that account can do. Docker required. MIT.
