What it does
Hold a shortcut — a key combination, a single modifier, or a spare mouse button — speak, and the text arrives transcribed. Two engines to choose between, Whisper and Parakeet, with models downloadable from inside the app, and a hold-to-record mode alongside the toggle. Everything runs on the machine, so nothing is sent anywhere; the trade is download time up front and battery when you pick the larger models. macOS only. MIT.
