What it does
Reads text aloud, and unusually will also generate non-speech sounds - laughter, sighs, crowd noise - when you write them into the prompt, across many languages including Japanese. The model permits commercial use. Output is not always faithful: it sometimes says something other than what you wrote or stops early, so it works best as a generate-and-pick process. Japanese pronunciation is less stable than English. Note this is a different thing from the paid Suno music service, though from the same company.
Summary based on the project's own description. The Japanese page has a fuller beginner guide: setup difficulty, what to prepare, and a step-by-step start.
