Voice & audio
What it does
Open the page and generate speech — the model runs in your browser, with WebGPU acceleration where available, so text isn't shipped anywhere. Voice and delivery are configurable, and you can self-host it behind an OpenAI-compatible endpoint if you want other apps to call it. Built on Kokoro-82M, small and fast, which shows in languages other than English: try your own text before committing. Free for commercial use. Unchanged since March 2025.
Summary based on the project's own description. The Japanese page has a fuller beginner guide: setup difficulty, what to prepare, and a step-by-step start.
